A Quick (almost) V-Day Update

So I'm totally not dead. After the weird Christmas rush and making a bunch of dolls for the shop, I decided I would make a ton of Christmas presents and then suddenly all my time was gone and it was like January. And then I went out to NY to visit my boyfriend for New Years and then it was all like, oh right I am supposed to be painting. But I totally started up again. And I have proof!

So on the left is a CAM Witch kit I am making into a Troll Shaman from World of Warcraft because I'm a nerd. She'll get little tusks and some mail armor (if I am feeling ambitious). Then there's a little Draculaura I am going to repaint into a geisha and style her hair better than...whatever the default was. It was a ponytail I think originally. And then on the right a CAM Sea Monster that I totally cut the arm tentacles off because they were weird then just painted her like a pretty fish. She has bright fin blushing too. But unfortunately her eyes and lips are freaking sticky because I used a new type of gloss and I am hoping I can fix it otherwise I'll have to repaint her.

This is my little red vampire girl, who started life as a CAM vampire kit girl and I mostly used for a faceup tutorial. She got shoes and an outfit and hair and now she's kind of adorable and I was going to keep her for awhile but I'm feeling kind of ehhhh about her now so, she'll probably be hitting the store sometime soon.

And this was my Frankie repainted as Medusa with toga costume and gold sandals. And I'm sad to say she is totally already sold, she was a Christmas gift for someone, because I freaking looooooooved her. Such weird color combinations and snake scales and then also snake hair and it was great. Maybe one day I will make another and then this time I will keep her for me damnit.

And then this is a preview of the girl I am currently (slowly) working on. I was reading a mostly unrelated doll forum and came across a girl who was cutting down on her MH collection. She had a Cupid she was getting rid of which I had totally wanted to snag. Unfortunately, I was too late. But she totally sent me a Ghoulia for free! Soooo I ripped her hair out and took her face off and then made her into this. I am hoping to give her a Marie Antoinette style dress so that she can hang out in the (still building) doll sized Victorian library set I'm working on.

So, like 4 dolls to work on and finish and one set to build. And then I sort of promised I'd turn another Ghoulia into EDI from Mass Effect for my friend because I'm a nerd. Lots of work to do. I should probably get back to painting...
Happy Modding!
